Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the Tri-State region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Leota Nedderman
Leota E. M. Nedderman, 90, of 10431 C.R. 66-A, St. Marys, died at 11:25 a.m. March 29, 2008, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
She was born March 22, 1918, in Auglaize County to Ferdinand and Malinda Fricke Quellhorst. On Sept. 28, 1940, she married Robert E. Nedderman, who died May 2, 2007.
Survivors are a son, Bill (Marilyn), New Bremen; five daughters, Delores (Wendell) Schultz and Kaye Burd, all of St. Marys, Virginia Yahl, Florence, Ky., Nancy (Thomas) Hunter, Wapakoneta, and Betty (Larry) Symonds, Englewood, Fla.; 18 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchilden.
Deceased is a son-in-law, Walter Yahl.
She was a homemaker and farm wife and retired from Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys, where she had worked as a cook in the dietary department. She was a member of the Hillsdale United Brethren Church, St. Marys, and a 1935 graduate of Memorial High School, St. Marys.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Elmer Long officiating. Burial is at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
