Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the Tri-State region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Marsha Klingshirn
Marsha Klingshirn, 61, 5560 Miller Road, Celina, died at 6:20 p.m. April 2, 2008, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton. Death was due to a heart attack.
She was born July 7, 1946, in Celina, to Hubert Becker and Mildred McQueen Becker-Fry. On Feb. 28, 1965, she married David Klingshirn, who survives in Celina.
Others survivors are two sons Chris (Staci), Troy, and Bryan (Tracy), Celina; a half brother, Todd Becker, Celina; and five grandchildren.
She retired in 2007 as an administrator at Mercer County Home, Celina, and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, and the Golden Retriever Club of America. She was a 1964 graduate of Celina High School.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Richard Riedel officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
