Parking lot construction underway

Construction is underway to completely replace the public parking lot on downtown Spring Street, next to the city office building in St. Marys. A bridge deck was removed and a new concrete slab structure is being built to replace it, said Craig Moeller, St. Marys superintendent of community services and engineering. When completed in late spring, the parking lot will offer the same seven parking spaces as previously existed and the drive-through access to pay city utility bills.
