Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Vivian Davis
Vivian E. Davis, 77, 951 Waynesboro Road, Decatur, Ind., died at midnight, April 9, 2008, at VanCrest Health Care Center, Van Wert.
She was born Aug. 24, 1930, in Harrison Township, Van Wert County, to Russell E. and Goldie C. Jewel Pancake. On Oct. 14, 1961, she married Norman Reed Davis, who died Jan. 1, 1991.
Survivors are two brothers, Paul E. (Carol) Pancake, Convoy, and Al (Marilyn) Pancake, Van Wert.
She retired from the Adams County Department of Human Services in Decatur, after 28 years as a secretary.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert, the Rev. Robert Shook officiating. Burial is at Decatur Cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
