John Van Tilburg
John D. Van Tilburg, 50, Kenosha, Wis. died of natural causes on April 10, 2008, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 19, 1957, in Chicago to Meredith and Gloria Brewer Van Tilburg, who survive in Kenosha.
Also surviving is a son, John of Virginia; three brothers: Michael (Christine), Racine, Wis., James (Carmen), Chicago, Thomas (Christine), Huntley, Ill; and a sister, Kathy (Don) Walter, Elburn, Ill; and three grandchildren.
He retired in 2000 after a 25-year career at Temple Steel. He was active at Bridges Community Center in Kenosha.
Service is 4 p.m. Sunday at Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, Kenosha. Burial will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Swamp College Cemtery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
