Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Arnold Stelzer
Arnold H. "Bozo" Stelzer, 79, 1521 Irmscher Boulevard, Celina, died at 6:16 a.m. April 18, 2008, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Sept. 24, 1928, in Celina to August and Lorena Huelsman Stelzer. On Jan. 6, 1948, he married Opal L. "Bonnie" Harris, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Richard (Tammy), Columbus, Dennis, Mason, and John (Georgia) Bryan; a daughter, Connie (John) Watson, Dayton; four brothers, Robert (Ilene) and Thomas (Pat), all of Coldwater, Kenneth, Kon City, Kan., and Ralph (Nikki), Celina; three sisters, Evelyn (Roger) Bechdolt and Alice Dirksen, all of Celina, and Kathryn (Thomas) Hendrick, Coldwater; and nine grandchildren.
He retired from the former New Idea plant after 32 years, having worked as the head of production central. He was a 1946 graduate of Immaculate Conception School and a member of the Mercer County Elks, Moose Lodge, Knights of Columbus and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, all of Celina.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Brenberger officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday and 9:30-10 a.m. Tuesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
Contributions can be made to the Heart Association or church endowment fund.
