Light snow across the area early this morning will increase in coverage and intensity toward sunrise in the I-70 corridor. This band of moderate snow will push south affecting the Tri-State region by mid morning, eventually pushing south of the area by early to mid afternoon.
Snow amounts of 1-2 inches will common for a good portion of the area on grassy surfaces, with melting on concrete surfaces limiting accumulations. Main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on mainly bridges and overpasses.
Temperatures today will remain steady mainly in the upper 20s. These cold temperatures combined with gusty winds of 20-25 mph will result in wind chill values in the teens to lower 20s.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Monday morning commute.

Elizabeth Kreider
Elizabeth A. "Libby" Kreider, 92, of 409 E. Butler St., Fort Recovery, died at 7:10 p.m. April 28, 2008, at Bloomington Hospital, Bloomington, Ind.
She was born May 6, 1915, in Portland, Ind., to Daniel and Elnora McCain Teeters, On May 25, 1936, she married Ralph Kreider, who died Feb. 13, 1989.
Surviving are a son, John, Union City, Ind.; two daughters, Margaret Bland, Portland, Ind., and Martha (Jerry) Kaehr, Spencer, Ind.; a brother, Daniel Teeters, Indianapolis, Ind.; a daughter-in-law, Helen Kreider, Fort Recovery; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
Deceased are a son, Richard; two brothers, John and William Teeters, three sisters, Margaret Lumm, Marie Teeters and Evelyn Hogg; and two grandchildren.
She owned and operated the former Kreider's Store in Fort Recovery, and was a member of the Eastern Star, Fort Recovery, and Fort Recovery United Methodist Church.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, the Rev. Robert Dungan officiating. Burial is at Springhill Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday from 9:30 a.m. until services at the funeral home.
