Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off into tonight.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset and beyond as temperatures drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Dorma Dues
Dorma R. Dues, 82, of Coldwater, died at 1:15 a.m. May 3, 2008, in Coldwater, after a brief illness.
She was born June 28, 1925, in Mercer County, to Ray and Gladys F. Howell Cummins. On Aug. 1, 1946, she married Stanley Dues, who died June 25, 2005.
Surviving are a son John (Diane) Dues, Celina; a daughter, Jill Sanders, Wapakoneta; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Deceased are a brother, Kahle, a son-in-law, Larry Sanders; and a sister-in-law, Betty Cummins.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the Ladies Rosary Altar Sodality of the church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, Coldwater, and the Democratic Women of Mercer County.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, the Rev. Richard Walling officiated. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
