* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Betty Jean Gilbert-Lawson
Betty Jean Gilbert-Lawson, 50, of 06144 U.S. 127 S., Celina, died at 2:05 p.m. May 7, 2008, at her residence. Death was due to natural causes.
She was born June 25, 1957 in St. Marys to William F. and June E. Chilcoat Kiefer. She was first married to William Gilbert, who died in 2001. She then married Stephen D. Lawson, who survives.
Other survivors are a stepson, Stephen, Celina; two stepdaughters, Nichole (Scott) Clark, Celina, and Christy, Wapakoneta; a brother, William Kiefer Jr., Mendon; and four sisters, Linda (Harry) Burd, Connie (Richard) Meinerding, Nancy (Donald) Brotherwood and Sandy Kiefer, all of St. Marys; and four grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Robert Kiefer.
She had worked in dietary departments of several area nursing homes and was a 1975 graduate of Memorial High School, St. Marys.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Judy Ball officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
