Bock and Rock
Photo by Margie Wuebker/The Daily Standard

Ryan Thobe, of Maria Stein, awaits a glass of German beer being poured by Roy Brown of Minster during Saturday's Bock and Rock: A Beer Tasting Experience sponsored by the Minster Civic Association. Visitors at the first-time event had an opportunity to sample imports, microbrews and craftbrews and then dance to the music of Delimit. Heavy winds buffeted two huge tents erected at Four Seasons Park Friday night necessitating restaking prior to the scheduled opening Saturday. Planners expressed delight at the large turnout.
