A few hours of light snow are expected late this evening, mainly after 8 pm. While accumulations will be light, some challenging travel conditions may develop given the cold temperatures.
Additional snow may linger through Monday morning with accumulations remaining light. However, increasing winds and very cold temperatures will support blowing snow, primarily in rural areas.
Challenging travel conditions will be possible starting late this evening, continuing through the day on Monday. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 10 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

Arlie Sommer
Arlie V. Sommer, 92, of 1423 White Oak Drive, St. Marys, died at 5:02 p.m. June 6, 2008, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born June 24, 1915, near Portland, Ind., to Charles and Ella Theurer Sommer. On June 6, 1937, he married Margaret Wickersham, who survives at the residence.
Other survivors are a daughter, Betty (Allan) Woodmansee, Fort Wayne, Ind.; a sister-in-law, Grace Sommer, Cincinnati; and two grandchildren.
Deceased are five brothers, Howard, Earl, Clarence, Alva and Ivan.
He was the manager of the former Morris Variety Store and later owned the former Sommer Variety Store both in St. Marys. He also was employed at the U.S Refining Company, Cleveland. He was a member of the Wayne Street United Methodist Church, St. Marys, where he served as a trustee and was on the administrative board. He was a charter member of the Homemakers Class at the church and a member of the St. Marys Rotary International Club for 62 years where he received the Rotary's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2001and the Paul Harris Fellow award in 2006. In 1933, he graduated from Madison Township High School in Portland, Ind.
Services ares 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Mary Kay Brown, officiating. Burial is at the family plot at Fountain Park Cemetery, Winchester, Ind.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and Wednesday one hour prior to service.
