Special Weather Statement issued December 3 at 1:05PM EST by NWS Wilmington OH (details ...)
Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.

Quacks at Chickasaw Picnic
Photo by Margie Wuebker/The Daily Standard

Four-year-old Kaylee Knouff of Montezuma eagerly awaits her prize after plucking a duck from the duck pond in the kiddie game area at the Chickasaw Community Park. Youngsters had an opportunity to toss ping pong balls and bean bags or pluck a sucker from the sucker tree and hit a hole in one. A brisk breeze made the hot, humid weather bearable. The 30th annual event sponsored by the Chickasaw Park Board benefits the community's two parks.
