A few hours of light snow are expected late this evening, mainly after 8 pm. While accumulations will be light, some challenging travel conditions may develop given the cold temperatures.
Additional snow may linger through Monday morning with accumulations remaining light. However, increasing winds and very cold temperatures will support blowing snow, primarily in rural areas.
Challenging travel conditions will be possible starting late this evening, continuing through the day on Monday. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

* WHEN...From 7 AM Monday to 9 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 10 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

L. C. Werling
L. C. "Peanuts" Werling, 82, of Coldwater, died at 8:17 a.m. June 9, 2008, at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Living Community.
He was born Jan. 29, 1926, in Dayton, to Carl and Eleanora Bruening Werling. On Jan. 15, 1947, he married Mary Jean Rammel, who died Oct. 1, 2003.
Survivors are a son, Bill (Peg), Coldwater; two daughters, Sandy Nash, Milton, W. Va. and Bev (Russ) Badgett, Celina; two brothers, W. H. "Bill" (Barb), Brookville, and Kenny (Betty), Celina; two sisters, Aneta (Charles) Koester and Doris (Larry) Salm, all of Coldwater; a stepdaughter, Kay (Mike) Pax, Coldwater; a companion, Jean Springer, Roanoke, Va.; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren and one stepgreat-grandchild.
He owned Werling Motors Ford dealerships in St. Marys and Coldwater for 58 years. He served two terms as president of the Mercer-Auglaize New Car Dealer Association and served on the Ford Advertisement Committee in Detroit, Mich. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the American Legion, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, all in Coldwater, a past member of the Mercer County Benovolent and Protective Order of Elks, the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge, Celina, and the Lions Club, Coldwater. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving from 1944 to 1947.
  Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater, where military rites will be conducted by the American Legion, Coldwater.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
