Snow showers will continue this afternoon into the evening hours. Slick spots may develop on roads tonight as temperatures drop and northwest winds gust from 20 to 30 mph. Coverage of snow showers is expected to decrease overnight before ending Monday morning. Most the area will see an accumulation of one-half inch to 2 inches. Visibility will be restricted at times in the heavier showers.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Vilma Rump
Vilma A. Rump, 96, 227 E. Monroe St., New Bremen, died at 6:50 p.m. June 11, 2008, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born June 3, 1912, near New Bremen, to Frederick and Flora Wehrman Gruebmeyer. On Dec. 5, 1931, she married Edgar E. Rump, who died Nov. 11, 1991.
Survivors are a son Edward E. (Mamie), New Bremen; a daughter, Beverly (Ralph) Plattner, New Bremen; a brother, Wilbert Gruebmeyer, New Bremen; a sister, Jeanette Hegemier, New Bremen; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Leonard Gruebmeyer; a grandson and a great-grandson.
She worked as a lab technician at the former Beatrice Foods and the former Garman Store and Vicki's Stitch and Sew, all in New Bremen. She was a member of the New Bremen School Safety Patrol, St. Paul United Church of Christ and its Busy 12 and Christian Service Guild, the Woodman of the World Camp 149, all in New Bremen, and was a quilter for the New Bremen Senior Citizens. She had attended New Bremen Schools.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Leah Matthews officiating. Burial is at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Monday in the chapel of the church, and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
Contributions can be made to the church memorial fund or the New Bremen Emergency Squad.
Arrangements were handled by Gilbert-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen.
