Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Dorothy Jung
Dorothy E. Jung, 89, of 17000 Roettger Road, New Bremen, died at 2 a.m. June 16, 2008, at the Heritage Manor Nursing Center, Minster. She was born Oct. 21, 1912, near New Bremen in Shelby County to Herman and Anna Nolte Opperman. On June 6, 1943 she married Nelson H. Jung, who died on April 29, 1995.
Survivors are a son Thomas (Diana), Anna; four brothers, Robert (Jean) Opperman, Fostoria; Myron (Wavelene) Opperman, New Knoxville, Fred (Betty) Opperman, New Bremen, and Marvin Opperman, Lakeland, Fla., four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Deceased are two brothers, Ed and Vernon Opperman.
A homemaker, she helped her husband on the family farm and worked at Kuck's Turkey Farm near New Knoxville. She was a member of the St. Peter's Church in New Bremen, where she served as church treasurer and the Lay Life ministry and was a member of the Farm Bureau.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Stephen Wills officiating. Burial is at the Schwaberow Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, and Thursday one hour prior to services at the church.
Contributions may be made to the church memorial fund.
