Scattered snow showers can be expected this morning along with westerly winds gusting to around 40 mph at times. Temperatures will continue to fall this morning, with readings dropping well below freezing.
Snow accumulations will be a half inch or less. This will result in some slick spots on untreated surfaces as well as bridges and overpasses. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination this morning. Be prepared for changing road conditions as well as gusty winds.

Betty Tharp
Betty J. Tharp, 77, 310 Jill Ave., Celina, died at 3:30 p.m. July 1, 2008, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born Jan. 11, 1931, in Darke County to Corliss and Evora Sorthorn Dininger. On March 8, 1947, she married John Tharp, who died June 16, 2006.
Survivors are two sons James (Pam), Roswell, N.M. and Khristopher, Celina; two daughters, Cindy (Bill) Monroe and Sharon (David) Weitz, all of Celina; a sister, Joan (Richard) Robbins, Greenville; a fiance, Dan Armstrong of Fort Jefferson; 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son Gregory; and a brother, Robert Dininger.
She was a retired L.P.N. who worked at Mercer County Community Hospital and was an Avon representative. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Coldwater.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Allan Brown officiating. Burial is at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 2-6 Friday at the funeral home.
