* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 1045 PM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 421 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area, with numerous roads remaining closed due to high water. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

Ruth Hiestand
Ruth E. Hiestand, 82, of New Weston, died at 9:30 a.m. July 13, 2008, at her residence.
She was born in Russia, to Raymond and Elizabeth Couchot Liette. On Feb. 16, 1946, she married Charles E. Hiestand, who survives at the residence.  
Other survivors are three sons, Phillip (Sandy), New Weston, Cyril (Deb), Union City and Timothy, Ansonia; two brothers, Lowell (Madonna) Liette, North Star, and Ralph (Ella Mae) Liette, Chickasaw; three sisters, Norma (Art) Rammel, Coldwater, Connie (Urban) Winner, Osgood, and Judy (John) Knight, Springfield, Va; two brothers-in-law, Bob Strait and Charles Gilliland; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three sisters, Helen Stout, Susie Gilliland and Dolores Byrd.
She was a homemaker and retired from Fram/Allied Signal in Greenville, where she was a member of the Fram Retirees.
Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, in Greenville, the Revs. Edgar Schambach and Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial is at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
