Louis Goodwin
Louis B. Goodwin, 69, 509 Echo St., Celina, died at 8:30 a.m. July 16, 2008, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 16, 1939, in St. Marys, to Aaron and Dana O. Apgar Goodwin. On July 11, 1959, he married June Alexander, who survives.
Other survivors are three sons, Mark (Rhonda), Sidney, Bradley, Celina, and Tyson, Toledo; two daughters, Rita (Ed) Miller, Montezuma, and Jody Monfort, Celina; two brothers, Lloyd and Albert, both of St. Marys; a sister, Judy Taylor, St. Marys; two half brothers, Larry of Kentucky and Robert O'Day, Vandalia; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers James and Yale; and four sisters, Rosemary Osting, Betty Dunlap, Ruth Broddy and Shirley Obliver.
He was a retired machine operator from Val Aera Space, Mendon, and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Robert Ellis officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
