* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1044 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen.Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... A Mercer County Sheriff's deputy talks with witnesses at the scene of a car-tanker truck accident that occurred at 12:35 p.m. Friday on U.S. 127 at the bridge spanning Beaver Creek. Ruth A. Behr, 71, of Fort Loramie, was driving northbound approaching a road construction area when she failed to observe the truck driven by Theodore M. Sealts, 70, of Columbus Grove, stopped at a red traffic signal. Her car struck the rear of the truck. Behr, who was taken by ambulance to Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys, was cited for an assured clear distance violation. The heavily damaged car was towed from the scene while the truck sustained light damage.
