Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Janet Smith
Janet A. Smith, 70, 6086 Burrville Road, Celina, died 4:20 a.m. July 25, 2008 at The Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
She was born Oct. 3, 1937 in Fort Recovery to Henry and Frieda Heymeyer Willman. On June 22, 1963, she married Donald Smith, who survives.
Other survivors are two daughters, Linda Smith, Dayton, and Jill (Mike) Olberding, Troy; three sisters, Mary Meehan, Fort Recovery, Joan (Ernie) Bentz, Portland, Ind., and Linda (Wayne) Stolze, Bryant Ind.; and two grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Henry Willman Jr.; and a sister, Shirley Cotterman.
She was retired from Sears, Celina, as a teletype operator and was a farmer and homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Fort Recovery. She attended Fort Recovery High School and was a graduate of Central Technical Institute, Kansas City, Miss.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Bruce Bair officiating. Burial is at Swap College Cemetery.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
