Special Weather Statement issued December 3 at 1:05PM EST by NWS Wilmington OH (details ...)
Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Lake Festival weekend
Photo by Mark Pummell/The Daily Standard

An amphicar makes a big splash on entering Grand Lake along Lake Shore Drive Friday night as throngs of spectators look on. This is the 10th year the amphicars have attended the festival, where they hold their international convention every year. Dave Green of Amphicars International presented plaques to Mayor Sharon LaRue and the Celina Eagles Lodge, making the city and its citizens honorary members of the international organization. The festival continues today with an array of activities both downtown and along the lake.
