Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Dorothy Thiebeau
Dorothy D. Thiebeau, 72, of 14198 Glynwood-New Knoxville Road, St. Marys, died at 7:25 a.m. July 28, 2008, at her residence.
She was born April 6, 1936, in Pineville, Ky. to John Edward and Ava Webb Rhodes. On Nov. 27, 1959, she married Norman R. Thiebeau, who survives.
Other survivors are, a son Richard D. (Mindy), St. Marys; a brother Matt (Alma), Rhodes, St. Marys; three sisters, Brenda Wilder, Van Wert, Pauline (John) Daniel and Thursa Sharp, all of St. Marys; and three grandchildren.
Deceased is an infant son, Delbert; and two brothers, Lowell and Murphy Rhodes.
She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Marys Missionary Baptist Church.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Revs. Perry Mason and Alva Daniel officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys.
