Elmer Bohman
Elmer G. Bohman, 92, of Versailles ,died at 7:08 p.m. July 30, 2008, in the emergency room of Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.
He was born May 28, 1916, in Osgood, to Fred and Mary Synck Bohman. On May 9, 1939, he married Verena Meier, who survives.
Other survivors are three sons, Orville (Norma), Versailles, Thomas (Joann), Houston, Texas, and David (Chris), Windham, N.H.; four daughters, Angela Grieshop, Sidney, Karen (Alvin) Drees, Versailles, Jane (Linus) Grieshop, Minster, and Linda (Gary) Steinbrunner, Fort Recovery; a brother Otmer (Agnes), Clayton; a sister, Thelma Schmitmeyer, Minster; 25 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son-in-law, Joe Grieshop and a grandson.
He was a farmer and a member of St. Denis Catholic Church, Versailles.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. David Vincent officiating. Burial is at St. Valbert Cemetery, Versailles.
There will be no calling hours.
