Special Weather Statement issued December 3 at 1:05PM EST by NWS Wilmington OH (details ...)
Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Flipping for a good cause

Mikey Santillan of Untitled Skateboards performs a jump over Celina Middle School Principal Ann Esselstein at the Celina First Church of God on Saturday afternoon. The Joplin, Mo., group was part of a benefit to raise money for a skate park in Celina. Approximately 50 skateboarders and as many spectators attended the event, according to co-coordinator Keith Gudorf. Local skateboarders have a goal of raising $50,000 for the park and currently have over $15,000, which is nearly enough to begin construction on a first phase. (4 of 4)
