Fern Green
Fern J. Green, 85, 1525 Westbury Drive, Celina, died at 7:40 p.m. Aug. 5, 2008, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born Sept. 26, 1922, in Michigan, to Floyd and Mabel Canute Zeigler. On Oct. 17, 1941, she married Allen Gale Green, who died Dec. 31, 1981.
Survivors are a son, Ronald (Debbie), Celina; a daughter, Barbara (Jack) Quilling, Celina; a sister, Evelyn Collett, Warren; two stepgrandchildren and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Philip; two sisters, her twin Faye Chilkowski and Marian Shine.
She retired from the former Huffy Bicycle Plant, Celina, and was a new product demonstrator at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Kim Miller officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
