Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Margaret Boecker
Former Minster resident Margaret H. Boecker, 88, died Aug. 15, 2008, at Trinity Nursing Facility, Beavercreek.
She was born Jan. 27, 1920, to Harvey B. and Emma Mesloh Henning. On Sept. 23, 1940, she married Wilfred B. Boecker, who died in December 2005.
Surviving are a son, Jack (Reenie), Dayton; a daughter, Susan B. (Jack, Sr.) Durnbaugh, Dayton; and two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Deceased are two sisters, Audrey Kemper and Louise Laut.
She gave private music lessons and served as organist at Zion United Church of Christ, New Bremen. She was a 1937 graduate and salutatorian at New Bremen High School. She attended Oberlin College Conservatory of Music.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, Deacon John Schmeising officiating.
Calling is 9:30-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
