Maurice Brunswick
Maurice R. Brunswick, 74, 39 E. Main St., Osgood, died at 2:30 a.m. Sept. 7, 2008, at his home.
He was born July 5, 1934, in Russia, to Henry and Emma Riethman Brunswick. On Nov. 24, 1956, he married Marianne Langenkamp, who survives.
Other survivors are three sons, Ronald (Jayne) and David (Connie), all of Osgood, and James (Janice), Grand Junction, Colo.; a daughter, Susan, Napoleon; a brother, Gerald (Joan), Anna; five sisters, Mary Coverstone, Sidney; Treva (Joe) Berger, New Weston, Alberta Behr, Fort Loramie, Sandra (Don) Otte, St. Henry, and Donna (Don) Merts, Celina; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased is an infant son, Richard, and a son, John; a daughter, Teresa; and two brothers-in-law, Marlin Coverstone and Norman Behr.
He owned and operated the Osgood Service & Body Shop and was a former village mayor, village councilor, firefighter and park board member, all of Osgood. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. David Zink officiating. Burial is at St. Martins Cemetery, Osgood.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
