Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Matthew Solino
Matthew J. Solino, 42, of Minster, died at 10:43 a.m. Sept. 8, 2008, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. Death was due to natural causes.
He was a born Oct. 11, 1965, in New Jersey, to Gus and Doris Irene Rose Solino. His father survives in New Jersey. His former wife, Bonnie Luthman survives in Russia.
Other survivors are two sons, Derek and Chase, both at home; two brothers Richard and Gus Jr.; and two sisters Anna Jean and Donna.
Deceased is a brother, Mark.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia, the Rev. Frank Amberger officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
