Alfrieda Siegrist
Alfrieda Siegrist, 88, Maria Stein, died at 3:05 a.m. Sept. 23, 2008, at her daughter's residence in Minster.
She was born March 30, 1920, in Wendelin, to Clem and Theresa Lange Evers. On Jan. 13, 1948, she married Sylvan "Pete" Siegrist, who survives.
Other survivors are four daughters, Elaine (Edward) Limbert, Botkins, Janet (Timothy) Beckman, Minster, Sandy (Thomas) Wellman, Maria Stein, and Sylvia (Larry) Henry, Versailles; a son, Ronald (Diane), Maria Stein; three brothers, Edward (Rita) Evers, Burkettsville, Gregor (Marian) Evers, and Clem Evers Jr. all of St. Henry; four sisters-in-law, Ann and Irene Evers, both of St. Henry, Rita Evers, Greenville, and Esther Wuebker, Fort Recovery; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are six brothers, Florence, Herbert, Harold, Clarence, Henry and Walter.
A homemaker, she was a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Cassella, and its ladies sodality.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Larry Wyen officiating.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
Contributions can be made to State of the Heart Hospice, Coldwater.
