Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off into tonight.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset and beyond as temperatures drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Robert Manor
Robert "Bob" T. Manor Sr., 83, of Salamanca, Madison Township, Jay County, Ind., died at 10:48 p.m. Sept. 26, 2008, at Jay County Hospital.
He was born April 6, 1925, in Jay County, to Monterville "Mont" and Josie Lamb Manor. On March 9, 1946, he married Betty June Whitacre, who died Sept. 8, 1988. On Feb. 6, 2002, he married Jean Whitacre, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Robert II (Deborah), Salamanca, Ind.; two daughters, Nyoka "Nicki" (Larry) Johnson, Muncie, Ind., and Melanie (Mark) Alt, Fort Recovery; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are nine brothers and seven sisters.
He and his first wife Betty June founded Manor Monument Co. in Salamanca in 1949. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Salamanca, and the Disabled American Veterans and American Legion, both in Portland. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II in the South Pacific Theater.
Services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Portland Chapel of the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home, the Rev. Dennis Kelley officiating. Burial is at the Salamanca Cemetery, with military rites conducted by the American Legion, Portland.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
