* WHERE...Portions of east central Indiana and central and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

Snow showers associated with an arctic front are moving through this morning, providing a quick accumulation of snowfall. With wind gusts between 30 and 40 mph, the snow showers combined with blowing snow are reducing visibility and creating challenging travel conditions. These conditions are most impactful on roads that are more rural and are aligned from north to south. Even after the snow ends, elevated winds will continue to blow snow into the early afternoon.
Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

Victor J. Homan
Victor J. Homan, 85, 3411 Philothea Road, died at 1:55 p.m. Sept. 30, 2008 at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born May 18, 1923, in Coldwater, to Theodore and Mathilda Braun Homan. On June 18, 1949 he married the former Esther Muhlenkamp in St. Anthony and she survives.
Also surviving are three sons: James (Linda), Franklin, Tenn., Steve (Maribeth), Lima, and Mark, Coldwater; two daughters, Sharon (George) Blyskun, Richboro, Penn. and Debra (Tom) Davis, Columbus; two brothers, Edwin (Luella) Coldwater, and Louis (Mildred), Dayton; three sisters: Martina (Carl) Uhlenhake, St. Henry; Mary Lou (Ralph) Klopfenstein, St. Marys, Helen (Richard) Trigg, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Bernie Homan, St. Henry, and Helen Homan, Coldwater, and nine grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Greg, two sisters, Viola Muhlenkamp and Julianna Homan, and three brothers, Alfred, Ray and Thomas.
A retired farmer, he was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Philothea, and the Men's Holy Name Society of the church. He was a member of the American Legion, Coldwater and was a veteran of the Navy serving in the Pacific during World War II.
Service is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Larry Hemmelgarn officiating. Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
Memorials may be made to the Center for Neurological Development.
