Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset as temperatures begin to drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Richard Gray
Richard L. Gray, 76, 603 S. Sugar St., Celina, died at 4:05 p.m. Oct. 3, 2008, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Feb. 10, 1932, in Celina, to Clifford and DeMona Cullen Gray. On April 18, 1959, he married Mary Ann Feltz, who survives.
Other survivors are three sons, Richard "DJ" and Kyle, both of Celina, and Kevin (Paula), Coldwater; a daughter, Renee (Mark) Smith, Elida; two brothers, Ron (Charlotte), Celina, and Harold (Jeanne), Greenville, Miss.; nine grandchildren, one great-grandson and five stepgrandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Don and Joe; and a sister, Ruth Garman.
He had worked at the former Mersman Cabinet Company and Reynolds and Reynolds, both in Celina, and the Mercer County Highway Department. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Northmoor Golf Club, both in St. Marys.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Richard Riedel officiating. Burial is at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
