* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...The following counties, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette IN, Franklin IN, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union IN and Wayne, the following counties, in Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and the following counties, in Ohio, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette OH, Franklin OH, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union OH and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional thunderstorms are expected into Wednesday morning. Locally heavy rainfall and the potential for storms to repeatedly track over the same areas are possible. This will result in the potential for flash flooding.

Otis Chilcoat
Former Van Wert and Wapakoneta resident Otis R. Chilcoat, 40, died at 6:13 p.m. Oct. 2, 2008, in the emergency department of Western Baptist Hospital, Paducah, Ky., from injuries sustained in an all-terrain vehicle accident.
He was born June 17, 1967, in St. Marys, to Lowell Thomas and Barbara A. Orwig Chilcoat. His wife, Jennifer Kampf, survives.
Other survivors are four sons, Josh, Jonathon, Justin and Jacob, all of Van Wert; two sisters, Ginger (Harold) Nalley, Paducah, and Minnie Clevenger, Wapakoneta; and two brothers, Lowell Thomas Jr. (Cindy), Wapakoneta, and Johnny, Paducah.
Deceased are a brother, Benny; and a sister, Beverly Kelly.
He worked as a general laborer and had attended Wapakoneta schools.
Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is noon until 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
