A group of Capital University baseball players from Columbus work together Saturday morning to build a home for a needy family at the corner of Wayne and Mackinaw streets in Celina. The project is being spearheaded by St. John Builders of the St. John Lutheran Church in Celina. When completed, the 1,150-square-foot home will have three bedrooms and 11/2 baths. Applications for eligible families interested in the home are available at the purple door church office at 1100 N. Main St. Deadline is Oct. 24 and a family will be chosen in November.
