Mary Leonard
Mary Joan Leonard, 74, 500 Bruns Ave., Apt. 40, Celina, died at 2 p.m. Nov. 1, 2008, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
She was born Nov. 3, 1932, in Auglaize County, to Carl and Violet Eshleman Whited. On Oct. 10, 1951, she married Daniel Dale Leonard, who survives.
Other survivors are three sons, Daniel (Laura), Terry (Becky) and Steve (Ranee), all of Celina; two daughters, Debra (Clem) Ralston, Mendon, and Cindy (Fred) Pizana, Ligonier, Ind.; three brothers, John, Lima, and George and Robert Whited, no addresses given; three sisters, Sally Roth and Helen Streight, both of St. Marys, and Janice (Dave) Winters, St. Louis, Mo.; 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Sue Williams; a brother, James Whited; and three sisters, Kathy Steele, Dorothy Braun and June Timmerman.
She retired from the former Huffy Bicycle Corp., Celina, and later worked at Auglaize Acres, Wapakoneta. She was a member of The Lord's Church, Celina, and The Gideons International.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Randy Christian officiating. Burial is at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
