Justin Slone
Former Wapakoneta resident Justin "Bud" Slone, 31, Highlands Ranch, Colo., died at 8:35 a.m. Nov.. 5, 2008, in the emergency department of Littleton Adventist Hospital, Littleton, Colo. Death was due to an aortic aneurysm.
He was born Nov. 21, 1976, in St. Marys, to Michael and Deborah Wilder Slone. His mother, Deborah Hower, survives in Wapakoneta.
Other survivors are two sisters, Monica Puckett, Lansing, Mich., and Jessica (Chris) Sims, Kissimmee, Fla.; a half sister, Laura Hower, Wapakoneta; a half brother, Jarad Post, Akron; three stepbrothers, Joshua, Joseph, and Jonathan Hower, all of Wapakoneta; and grandmothers, Bertha Wilder, Van Wert, and Shelby Roller, St. Marys.
Deceased are two grandfathers, Terrell Wilder and Raymond Roller.
He worked in restaurant management and construction. He was a 1995 graduate of Wapakoneta High School.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Alva Daniel officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
