Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Lillian Holaday
Lillian E. Holaday, 88, died at 4:47 a.m., Nov. 18, 2008, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
She was born Feb. 20, 1920, in Tiffin, to Asa and Stelle Lanning Hill. On Oct. 16, 1939, she married Jack Holaday, who died in July 2000.
Survivors are a daughter, Nickie (Larry) Brodbeck, Rockford; a daughter-in-law, Janet Holaday Davis, Lakeland, Fla.; six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Jack S.; a brother, Roy Hill; and three sisters, Rose Grahm, Helen Bruno, and Ruth Shock.
She was a homemaker, a member of Mendon United Methodist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
No services will be held.
