Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Gregory Roediger
Former New Bremen resident Gregory Carl Roediger, 51, of Austin, Texas, died of natural causes Nov. 30, 2008 at his residence.
He was born on Oct. 3, 1957, in St. Marys, to Carl and Melba Weed Roediger. His father survives in New Bremen.
Also surviving are a brother, Doug (Michelle) Roediger, Wapakoneta, and a niece and nephews, all of Wapakoneta.
He owned and operated Bullseye Builders Construction Co. in the Austin, Texas, area for the past 28 years. He graduated in 1976 from New Bremen High School and in 1980 from Morehead State University, Morehead, Ky.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, the Rev. Leah Matthews officiating. Burial is at the Evangelical Protestant Cemetery, New Knoxville.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
