Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Glen Counterman
Glen Counterman, 80, 1001 Myers Road, Celina, died Dec. 5, 2008, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
He was born Oct. 7, 1928, in Mercer County to Vernon and Laura Wolfe Counterman.
Surviving are a brother, Gene, Convoy; two sisters, Mary (Melvin) Hull and Marie (Ralph) Schnarre, all of Celina; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Daphne Ullery; and three brothers, Ray, Roy, and Edwin.
He was a farmer and retired from Goodyear. He was the former president of Mercer County Saddle Club and a 1946 graduate of Rockford High.
Services are private. Burial is at a later date.
