* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Bernice Smith
Bernice E. Smith, 88, 14248 Kohler Road, Wapakoneta, died at 4:45 a.m. Dec. 5, 2008, at the Gardens of Celina.
She was born May 31, 1920, in New Knoxville, to Urban and Louetta Piepmeyer Stienecker. On May 19, 1938, she married John O. Smith, who died March 28, 1997.
Surviving are two sons, Sidney P. (Mary), Celina, and Jerry (Nelly), Wapakoneta; two sisters, Eunice (Robert) Kohlreiser and Grace (Francis) Carmean, all of St. Marys; a brother, Nathan (Georgia Ann) Stienecker, Wapakoneta; and three sisters-in-law, Eileen and Rachel Stienecker, both of St. Marys, and Joyce Stienecker, New Knoxville; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four brothers, Roland, Robert, Vernon and Merlin Stienecker; and three sisters, Edith Rosengarten and Viola and Mildred Stienecker.
She was a homemaker and worked at the former Brodbecks Market in St. Marys. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Wapakoneta, and a 1938 graduate of New Knoxville High School.
Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday a Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Elaine Mikesell officiating. Burial is at Loramie Valley Cemetery near Botkins.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral Home.
