Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Dorothy McCullough
Mendon native Dorothy R. Felver McCullough, 90, 768 Holly St., Lima, died at 4:42 p.m. Dec. 10, 2008, at the Ridge of Shawnee.
She was born June 17, 1918, in Mendon, to Douglas and Ida Summers Hook. On May 30, 1937, she married Lewis "Dick" Felver, who died June 3, 1977. On Aug. 11, 1984, she married Warren McCullough, who died Dec. 25, 2006.
Surviving are two daughters, Joyce Ruffner and Karen (Robert) Hatcher, all of Lima; a sister, Ada Rumple, Napoleon; 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
She retired from Lima Memorial Hospital in 1984, where she had worked for many years as a surgical aide. She formerly attended the Melrose United Methodist Church and was a 1937 graduate of the former Mendon High School.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. John Rumple officiating. Burial is at Mendon Cemetery.
