Donald G. "Don" Kremer, 78, of Kettering, died Dec. 13, 2008, at a nursing home in Dayton.
He was born May 14, 1930, in Yorkshire, to Neal and Nettie Klosterman Kremer. His wife of 56 years, Patricia Buschor, survives.
Other survivors are a son, Kirk (Sherri), Kettering; three sisters, Marie Hausfeld, Minster, Alice Suttman, Centerville, and Janice Meyer, Hudson; a brother, Howard (LaVerta), Troy; and two grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Kevin; and a sister, Gladys Troup.
He worked for the family's grain and feed elevator in Yorkshire and operated automotive dealerships in Celina and Napoleon. In 1971, he became the owner of Don Kremer Lincoln-Mercury, Kettering and owned and operated Budget Rent-A-Car, Dayton and Dayton Auto Lease Companies. He served as president of the Miami Valley Car Dealers Association, was a partner in Mid-Miami Real Estate Investment Co. and developer of the Paragon Condominium Complex.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are being handled by Tobias Funeral Home-Far Hills Chapel, Dayton.
