Southwest winds will increase this morning with the passage of a strong cold front. Southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 to 45 mph expected this morning into the afternoon before diminishing toward evening.

After 25 years, the Jim Bubeck Chevrolet car dealership in New Bremen has closed its doors for good. The window of the business on state Route 66, still advertises its the marketing logo from a popular song, Get Your Kicks on Route 66.
