Dennis Gross
Dennis E. Gross, 61, of 817 Linden Ave., Celina, died at 7:32 p.m. Feb. 8, 2009, at the emergency room of Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born March 7, 1947, to Charles and Freddie Mees Gross. On April 25, 1970, he married Linda Thobe, who survives in Celina.
Other survivors are two daughters, Julie (Kevin) Bell and Cynthia (Clifford) Noggler, all of Celina; and four grandchildren.
He was the former owner and operator of the Bulldog Bait & Tackle Shop, Celina, and was employed by Piper Trucking, Celina. He was a member of the Abounding Grace Ministries Church, Celina, and was a 1965 graduate of New Bremen High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Rick Brosher officiating. Burial is at North Grove Cemetery, Celina where military honors at the graveside will be conducted by the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, both in Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina.
