The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Henry Rauh
Henry U. Rauh, 83, 5198 Rauh Road, Fort Recovery, died at 9:25 a.m. Feb. 11, 2009, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 11, 1925, in St. Anthony, to Peter and Regina Homan Rauh. On May 11, 1957, he married Alice Kohler, who survives.
Other survivors are two daughters, Julie (Ron) Brackman, Fort Recovery, Janet (Chuck) Stoner, Celina; two sons, Tim (Lorraine), Fort Recovery, and Todd (Carolyn), Versailles; a sister, Alma Bergman, Osgood; and 16 grandchildren.
He was a farmer and had been employed at the former Mersman Furniture Company, Celina. He was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church, the Catholic Order of Foresters, Independent Order of Foresters, served on the board of directors of the former Equity Dairy, Fort Recovery, and was a former member of the Mercer County Holstein Club. He graduated from Coldwater High School.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at the church, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-9:45 a.m. Saturday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
