Scattered snow showers will continue through mid morning. With temperatures well below freezing, light snow accumulations will combine with lingering black ice from overnight, to create some slick spots on area roadways. In addition, brisk westerly winds will gust in the 25 to 35 mph range this morning.
If traveling this morning, allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses as well as untreated surfaces.

Coffee gecko

A gecko lizard tries to lure customers to the drive-through at Crowning Touch and Home Accents and Coffee Shop, 565 E. Market Street in Celina. Andy Saus and Andrew Saus II, the husband and son of the owner, alternated wearing the gecko costume on Tuesday. Store owner, Jenise Saus, said she selected the gecko because it's cute.
