Rosalie Drees
Rosalie Noonan Drees, 83, 39 N. Frankfort St., Minster, died at 1:20 p.m. March 15, 2009, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born March 22, 1925, in St. Marys, to John S. and Mary Amilia Lemkuhle Noonan. On May 6, 1950, she married Arthur Drees, who survives.
Other survivors are nine children, James (Marion) Drees, San Angelo, Texas, Gregory (Linda) Drees, Amarillo, Texas, Emily (Jeff) Pence, Middlepoint, Diane (Dennis) Worthington, Sidney, Jerome Drees, Fort Jennings, Mary Sue (Luke) Muhlenkamp, Portland, Ind., Theresa (Allen) Muhlenkamp, Portland, John Drees, Minster, and Barbara Drees, Minster; a brother, Richard Noonan, Piqua; two sisters, Mildred Noonan, St. Marys, and Lucille Uhlenhake, Spencerville; 28 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Robert Noonan, a sister, Virginia Noonan; a granddaughter and a great-grandson.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, where she sang in the funeral choir.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
