Second-grade student Kristin Grieshop reads with her mother, Jenny, during a special program Tuesday night (St. Patrick's Day) at Marion Local Elementary School. The event, which included a scavenger hunt and tips for parents to promote reading, was organized by Wright State University-Lake Campus students Amy Welling and Maria Dietz. The young ladies have been student teaching in the classrooms since August and on Monday will switch roles with two of the elementary school's teachers.
