Josephine Black
Josephine R. Black, 95, of St. Marys, died at 12:30 a.m. March 30, 2009, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Aug. 23, 1913, in Mercer County to John and Josephine Schroer Billerman. On May 7, 1946, she married Clarence W. Black, who died May 20, 1999.
Surviving are three sons, Clarence Jr. (Sheryl) Black, Elkhart, Ind., Jim (Connie) Black, Celina, and Thomas Rutschilling, New Bremen; two daughters, Roberta (Walt) Schmidt and Susan (Michael Smith) Jackson, all of St. Marys; 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a grandson.
She worked at the former Buckeye Overall Company in Coldwater for 35 years.
Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater, the Rev. Tony Richmond officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
