Roseann Gibbons Davis
Roseann Gibbons Davis, 86, died at 3:36 p.m. April 1, 2009, in Deland, Fla.
She was born July 4, 1922, in Celina, to Dr. John T. and Ruth Crampton Gibbons. She was married to Donald Davis in 1946, and he preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Karen L. Davis, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Diane R. Davis, Cassadaga, Fla.; three grandsons; and two great-grandsons.
Deceased is a brother, John Crampton Gibbons.
She was a 1940 graduate of Celina High School and later Cornell University. She was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, Junior League and Philanthropic Educational Organization (PEO). She held positions with the Salvation Army and the National Safety Council, Clearwater, Fla., and was affiliated with the hotel industry.
She was cremated and burial will be at North Grove Cemetery, Celina, at a later date.
